Technical Support Manager / Surveyor – South West Region £52,000 + £5,740 car allowance • Field‑based • Hybrid working • 36 hours

The Role As Technical Support Manager, you’ll be the trusted technical link between clients, contractors and internal teams. Your work will span a wide range of construction and refurbishment programmes, including: • Providing technical guidance throughout building projects • Visiting sites to monitor progress, quality and compliance • Validating technical and pricing compliance against framework requirements • Supporting clients with specifications, procurement routes and project delivery • Building strong relationships with stakeholders and appointed companies • Feeding regional insight into the development of future frameworks • Maintaining accurate records and supporting national best practice
About You This role is ideal for someone with a Surveying or Construction Project Management background who enjoys variety, autonomy and client interaction. You’ll bring: • Experience managing construction or building projects from feasibility to completion • Strong technical understanding of construction methods and project management • Confidence working face‑to‑face with clients and contractors • Knowledge of public sector procurement (desirable but not essential) • Excellent communication, organisation and analytical skills • Experience writing specifications and pricing schedules (advantageous) • A degree or equivalent experience in Building Surveying or a related discipline
