Inventory First Line Manager

Here at GXO, we’re seeking an Inventory First Line Manager to join our Abercrombie & Fitch contract based in Rushden. You’ll lead the inventory function and oversee the Warehouse Management System (WMS), ensuring stock accuracy, system integrity, and operational efficiency. You’ll play a key role in driving continuous improvement while leading and developing your team in a fast-paced environment.

This is a full-time, permanent position. You will work Sunday to Thursday, 14:00 till 22:00.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Managing inventory operations, including cycle counts (PI), stock accuracy, and system integrity
• Leading and developing a team, providing feedback, training, and performance support
• Monitoring WMS performance and identifying/reporting any stock or system issues
• Planning labour, shifts, and workloads to meet operational demand and budget
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives and resolving inventory discrepancies

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• Proven experience leading teams within a warehouse or logistics environment
• Strong knowledge of stock control processes and inventory management
• Good understanding of Warehouse Management Systems (Blue Yonder)
• Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel
• A proactive, detail-focused individual with strong problem-solving skills
