Associate Dentist – Independent Practice | Newport, Shropshire | 2 Days per Week | Established Patient List 

MBR Dental are currently  assisting an independent dental practice in Newport, Shropshire, to recruit an Associate Dentist to join their team on a permanent basis.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a friendly, principal-led practice with an established NHS  patient base, excellent private growth potential, and a supportive clinical team.

Position Details

• Available immediately
• Part-time opportunity – 2 days per week
• Surgery space:
  • Tuesday & Wednesday
  • 9:00am – 5:00pm
• Up to 2,000 NHS UDAs
• Negotiable UDA rate
• 50% split on private fees
• Established patient list with an existing appointment diary
• Excellent opportunity to increase private income alongside NHS
• Typical earnings for an NHS Dentist range from £50,000 to £140,000 FTE plus private earnings.

• Suitable for a General Dentist
• Practice has a strong NHS base with growing demand for private dentistry
• Excellent opportunity to develop treatments including:
  • Composite Bonding
  • Smile Makeovers
• Carry out comprehensive examinations, treatment planning and routine restorative dentistry
• Educate patients on preventative oral healthcare
• Maintain accurate clinical records using Dentally software
• Work closely with the wider clinical team to deliver outstanding patient care

Requirements

• Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS or equivalent)
• GDC registered Dentist
• Active NHS Performer Number
• Valid DBS certificate.
• Right to work in the UK
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to delivering high standards of patient care
• NHS experience preferred but not essential
• Interest in developing private dentistry welcomed
