The Opportunity

We are looking to register experienced and enthusiastic RE Teachers for daily supply opportunities across Croydon.

This is not a permanent or full-time position . Instead, teachers will be offered day-to-day supply assignments based on their availability, experience, preferred locations, and the needs of local schools.

The Role

As a Daily Supply RE Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and well-structured Religious Education lessons while maintaining a positive and purposeful classroom environment.

Classroom Teaching: Deliver prepared RE lessons clearly and confidently, ensuring students remain engaged and supported throughout the lesson.

Classroom Management: Establish positive relationships with students and maintain high standards of behaviour, even when working in an unfamiliar classroom.

Lesson Delivery: Follow existing lesson plans and school expectations while using your own teaching expertise to ensure lessons run effectively.

Assessment & Feedback: Support students with their learning, encourage discussion and critical thinking, and provide appropriate feedback where required.

Professional Responsibilities: Follow school policies, safeguarding procedures, and expectations while working collaboratively with permanent members of staff.
