Environmental Enforcement Officer

ENVIRONMENTAL ENFORCEMENT OFFICER
Location: Hull - HU1 area
Pay: £13.45 per hour / Weekly Pay
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Shifts: 8-hour shifts between 07:00 - 19:00 (Monday to Sunday, rotational weekends)
Requirement: Full UK manual driving licence (company vehicle provided)

Kingdom Local Authority Support is recruiting Environmental Enforcement Officers in Hull to help tackle environmental crime and improve local spaces.

This is a varied, field-based role where no two days are the same - combining enforcement, public engagement, and community support.

You'll be at the front line of keeping areas clean, safe, and compliant.

What You'll Be Doing
- Patrolling local areas to identify environmental offences
- Enforcing regulations around littering, fly-tipping, and waste management
- Issuing Fixed Penalty Notices (FPNs) where required
- Investigating incidents and responding to public reports
- Engaging with members of the public, businesses, and local stakeholders
- Carrying out follow-up visits to ensure compliance
- Supporting wider community safety initiatives

What We're Looking For
- Confident communicator with strong people skills
- Professional and calm in challenging situations
- Good attention to detail and ability to problem solve
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Full UK manual driving licence (essential)
- Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently
- Previous enforcement, security, or customer-facing experience (desirable)
