ServiceNow Implementation Consultant

Linking Humans is working with a leading organisation looking to strengthen its ServiceNow capability with an experienced Senior ServiceNow Solutions Consultant.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys combining hands-on ServiceNow delivery with solution design, integrations and user experience. You will work across a broad range of ServiceNow workflows, helping organisations create joined-up experiences for customers, employees and technology teams.
The role You will be responsible for designing, developing and implementing ServiceNow solutions across a variety of workflow applications.


Your responsibilities will include:

• Designing and developing scalable ServiceNow solutions
• Configuring and customising ServiceNow applications to meet business requirements
• Building workflows using Flow Designer and other ServiceNow platform capabilities
• Developing intuitive and modern user experiences using UI Builder, Next Experience and Service Portal
• Creating role-based dashboards, portals and tailored user journeys
• Integrating ServiceNow with third-party systems using REST and SOAP APIs and IntegrationHub
• Supporting data migration and ensuring data consistency across ServiceNow and external platforms
• Working with technical and business stakeholders to translate requirements into effective ServiceNow solutions
• Troubleshooting complex platform and integration issues
• Ensuring solutions are maintainable, scalable and aligned with ServiceNow best practice

ServiceNow experience We are particularly interested in candidates with experience across one or more of the following areas:
Customer workflows:

• Customer Service Management (CSM)
• Field Service Management (FSM)
• Customer portals and digital experiences

Technology workflows:

• IT Service Management (ITSM)
• IT Operations Management (ITOM)
• IT Asset Management (ITAM)

Employee workflows:

• HR Service Delivery (HRSD)
• Employee Onboarding and Transitions
• Workplace Service Delivery (WSD)

You do not necessarily need experience across every module listed above. Strong expertise within one or more areas, combined with solid ServiceNow platform knowledge, will be considered.


What we are looking for You should have:

• Strong commercial experience working with the ServiceNow platform
• Experience designing, configuring and developing ServiceNow solutions
• Good knowledge of JavaScript, HTML and CSS
• Experience with Glide APIs
• Strong Flow Designer experience
• Experience with IntegrationHub and ServiceNow integrations
• Knowledge of REST and/or SOAP APIs
• Experience with UI Builder, Service Portal or Next Experience
• An understanding of end-to-end workflow design
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• The ability to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Strong communication and consulting skills

Experience with ServiceNow data architecture, Workflow Data Fabric or RaptorDB would also be advantageous.

Security clearance This role requires the successful candidate to be eligible to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance.

As part of the clearance requirements, candidates will normally need to have been continuously resident in the UK for the last five years, alongside meeting the other relevant security clearance criteria.
