Playworker – Breakfast & After School Club
Location: Dale Hall Primary School IP1 4LX
Hours: 21 hours per week - Monday to Friday - Term Time Only

We are looking for a Playworker to support our Breakfast and After School Club at Dale Hall Primary School. This is a part-time, term-time only role for someone who enjoys working with children and can help provide a safe, friendly and engaging setting before and after the school day.

Main duties:
• Plan and support play activities for children aged 4 to 11
• Create a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment
• Supervise children before and after school
• Communicate clearly with parents and carers
• Prepare snacks and follow hygiene and safety procedures
• Follow safeguarding procedures at all times

Requirements:
Essential:
• Must be aged 18 or over
• Experience of working with children aged 4 to 11 (paid or voluntary)
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Able to support children in a fun and structured environment

Desirable:
• Childcare qualification, or working towards one
• Safeguarding or First Aid training
