Primary Nurture Teacher (KS3 Nurture Provision)

Salary: £24,000 - £44,000

Are you a passionate and nurturing Primary Teacher looking to make a real difference in the lives of young people? We are seeking a dedicated Primary Nurture Teacher to join a supportive secondary school in the heart of Colchester, working within a KS3 nurture provision supporting students who are underachieving and require additional academic, emotional, and behavioural support.

Responsibilities:

* Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to the needs of KS3 students working below expected levels
* Build positive relationships with students to support their academic progress, confidence, and emotional wellbeing
* Create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment that promotes engagement and achievement
* Monitor, assess, and report on student progress, implementing intervention strategies where required
* Work collaboratively with pastoral teams, SENCOs, parents, and external agencies to support student outcomes

Requirements:

* QTS
* Experience teaching within a primary or nurture setting
* Strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills
* Ability to engage and motivate students who may have experienced barriers to learning
* Commitment to supporting students' social, emotional, and academic development
