Star Actuarial is currently representing a fantastic opportunity for a part-qualified life actuary with excellent Python skills to advance their career in a fully remote role.
Hitting the ground running with a high level of responsibility, you will drive the development and deployment of data-led pricing strategies that directly influence business performance.
Taking the lead on translating complex data into actionable pricing insights, you will be instrumental in improving commercial decision-making, enhancing competitive positioning and supporting sustainable growth.
You will also contribute to strategic pricing initiatives, responding to market conditions in an agile way in order to unlock commercial opportunities at pace.
With strong statistical and mathematical capability (including probability, modelling techniques and analytical methods), the successful candidate will possess an understanding of actuarial valuation methods, including discounted cashflow modelling and assumption setting.
Strong data analysis and modelling capabilities are also required while actuarial and pricing expertise in retail protection products would be an advantage.
This is a fully remote role with occasional trips to the office on the South East coast.
