Admissions Events and Engagement Officer

We are looking for a highly organised, proactive and personable Admissions Events & Engagement Officer to join our Admissions Team.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced events professional who combines exceptional organisation and attention to detail with the confidence and warmth to create outstanding experiences for prospective pupils and their families.

Working closely with the Head of Admissions, you will take a leading operational role in planning and delivering our programme of Admissions and recruitment events, including Open Mornings, taster experiences, assessment and Scholarship days, feeder-school engagement and other recruitment activities. You will coordinate the detail behind each event, work with colleagues across the School and ensure that families receive timely and thoughtful communication and follow-up. You will also provide flexible operational support across Admissions at key times, helping to ensure that every family's experience of Oakham is personal, professional and welcoming.

We're looking for someone who is a natural organiser and confident coordinator, who can manage multiple priorities, build strong relationships and remain calm when delivering live events.

Previous experience in school Admissions or independent education would be helpful but is not essential. Strong events, hospitality, recruitment, customer experience or other relevant multi-stakeholder experience would also be welcomed.

The role is full-time and year-round and requires flexibility to support some Saturday and occasional evening events.
