The Role

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers and support staff to help pupils achieve their full academic, social, and emotional potential. Your responsibilities will include:

* Supporting teaching and learning across a range of curriculum subjects
* Delivering literacy and numeracy interventions to small groups
* Providing tailored 1:1 support for pupils with additional learning needs
* Assisting children with SEND and other barriers to learning
* Encouraging positive behaviour, engagement, and confidence in the classroom
* Supporting lesson preparation and classroom organisation
* Helping to create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment

About You

To be considered for this role, you will:

* Hold a 2:1 degree or above (or be predicted to achieve this)
* Have studied Education, Psychology, English, Maths, or a related subject (desirable)
* Demonstrate a positive, proactive, and professional attitude
* Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Have a genuine passion for supporting children's education and development
* Be eager to gain hands-on school-based experience
* Be considering a future career within education
* Have the right to work in the UK
