The Best Connection is currently looking for an experienced and reliable Counterbalance FLT Driver to support a busy clients warehouse and logistics operations. This is an excellent opportunity for a safety-conscious forklift operator who enjoys working in a fast-paced warehouse environment and takes pride in maintaining high standards of accuracy and efficiency.
The Role
As a Counterbalance FLT Driver, you will play a key role in the movement, storage, and dispatch of goods, ensuring stock is handled safely and efficiently throughout the warehouse.
Pay:
£!4 - £16 per hour
Working Hours:
Tuesday and Wednesday 08:30-17:00
Key Responsibilities
- Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently.
- Loading and unloading vehicles.
- Moving stock and materials throughout the warehouse and yard.
- Assisting with goods-in and goods-out activities.
- Ensuring products are stored correctly and stock locations are maintained.
- Conducting daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects.
- Supporting stock control and inventory accuracy.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
- Assisting with general warehouse duties as required.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- Valid Counterbalance FLT licence
- Previous experience operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck.
- Strong understanding of warehouse health and safety procedures.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
