PE Teacher - Cheshire - January 2026
An Outstanding 11–18 school in Cheshire is looking to appoint a dedicated Teacher of Physical Education to join its established and successful PE department from January 2026.
This school has built a strong sporting reputation across the region, with students regularly representing at county and national level. The department benefits from exceptional facilities: a multi-purpose sports hall, 3G pitch, athletics track, fully equipped gym, and a new indoor climbing wall funded through a local partnership grant.
The PE faculty delivers a rich, inclusive programme that balances elite performance with participation for all. From inter-house competitions to regional tournaments and a thriving Duke of Edinburgh Award cohort, sport is truly embedded in the school’s culture.
Teachers in the department work collaboratively to deliver a broad curriculum that includes traditional team sports, dance, fitness and outdoor education. The school is also piloting a “Sport in Society” unit within the Sixth Form, connecting PE with leadership, psychology and wellbeing — something you’ll have the chance to help shape.
You’ll bring:
- QTS or equivalent with a specialism in PE or Sport Science
