Year 2 Teacher - Primary School | Harlow Full-Time | Long-Term | September Start
GSL Education is working in partnership with a welcoming and well-regarded primary school in Harlow to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 2 Teacher for a full-time, long-term role starting in September .

About the Role
As the Year 2 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and creative lessons that support pupils through this important stage of Key Stage 1. The school is looking for a teacher who can build confidence in young learners while creating a classroom atmosphere that is calm, inclusive, and inspiring. You will work alongside a friendly and collaborative staff team who value teamwork, creativity, and high-quality teaching. Key Responsibilities Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum
Supporting pupils' academic, social, and emotional development
Preparing pupils for end of KS1 assessments in a supportive and encouraging way
Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Monitoring and assessing pupil progress effectively
Working closely with teaching assistants and colleagues
Building positive relationships with parents and carers
Contributing to the wider life of the school community The Ideal Candidate Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching within Key Stage 1, ideally Year 2
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
A nurturing, enthusiastic, and adaptable teaching style
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
