Paediatric Intensive Care Consultant

Job summary
Applications are invited for a full-time 10 PA (8DCC:2SPA) Consultant Paediatric Intensivist with an on-call commitment on the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children NHS Trust.The consultant will join the existing fabulous team of consultant paediatric intensivists covering the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit. Part time or full-time working will be considered. GOSH PICU has a significant research focus, and established tracheal/airway, haemato-oncology and neuroscience practice.

The successful candidate will be a thoughtful, compassionate intensivist, aligned with our new GOS-Trust values. They will have full GMC registration with a licence to practice and be on the specialist register or within six months of CCT at time of interview. Portfolio pathway applicants must be on the Specialist Register at the point of application. All applicants must possess a relevant qualification e.g. MRCP, or MRCPCH, or FRCA and have a minimum of two years approved training in paediatric intensive care medicine, including transport medicine, or be an existing practising consultant in an equivalent paediatric intensive care unit.
