Primary Class Teacher | Sharjah English School | UAE

This role is suited to UK trained Teachers with recent experience in British curriculum schools. 

Applicants must have a strong understanding of Primary and a proven track record within a British educational context.

Sharjah English School (SES) is a small, inclusive, non-for-profit school, occupying a spacious and attractive campus in close proximity to Dubai. We are a well-established co-educational school offering the National Curriculum to 1100 children from Foundation through to A Level. As well as serving the local British expatriate community, the school has students from many other nationalities. We are a British School Overseas and British Schools of the Middle East accredited school. The Role: Primary Class Teacher

We are seeking a passionate teacher to join our committed team. Someone who can deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences that inspire and engage key stage two  students, ensuring they achieve their full potential.

This position is for an immediate start!

Personal Specifications:

● Qualified teacher with a minimum of two years teaching experience

● Proficient ICT user

● Awareness of innovative thinking and practice in education

● An in-depth and up to date knowledge of the English National Curriculum.

● A strong personal presence and high level interpersonal skills

● Excellent understanding of Safeguarding and Child Protection policies and practices

The successful candidate must have the following:

● A B.Ed or BA degree in a core Primary subject with PGCE.

● Proven track record in fostering a caring and supportive atmosphere.

● Be a passionate educator dedicated to the well-being, social and academic progress of each student.

● Experience which will make a significant contribution to the wider life of the school.
