Job Title: Band 6 Biomedical Scientist - Cellular Pathology Specialism: Cellular Pathology Location: Milton Keynes, UK Salary: £26 per hour Contract: Locum, Full Time, Ongoing
We have an exciting opportunity for a Band 6 Biomedical Scientist to join the Cellular Pathology Team in Milton Keynes. This full-time locum role offers an ASAP start and an ongoing contract, making it an excellent opportunity for an experienced Biomedical Scientist looking to further their career within a busy NHS laboratory. If you have previous NHS Cellular Pathology experience and are ready to make an immediate impact, we would love to hear from you.

Perform a range of diagnostic laboratory procedures in accordance with departmental protocols.
Operate, maintain, and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure accurate and reliable results.
Work collaboratively with laboratory colleagues and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
Participate in quality assurance and quality control programmes to maintain high laboratory standards.
Ensure compliance with HCPC standards, laboratory policies, and health and safety regulations. Qualifications and Requirements: Degree or equivalent qualification in Biomedical Science.
Current HCPC registration as a Biomedical Scientist.
Minimum of two years' post-qualification experience in Cellular Pathology.
Previous NHS Cellular Pathology experience is essential.
