Salary/Benefits

• £30,000 - £38,000, depending on experience

About you

We are keen to speak with candidates who have a solid grounding in accounting and are looking to progress their career. Ideally, you will have:

• Part-qualified status with ACCA, CIMA or CAI
• At least 3 years' experience within a finance or accounting environment
• Good knowledge of month-end processes and account reconciliations
• Strong Excel skills and confidence working with accounting software
• Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to your work
• The ability to communicate confidently with both finance and non-finance colleagues
• A proactive attitude and willingness to take ownership of tasks
• The ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a wider team

What you'll do

As part of the finance team, you will take responsibility for a varied workload, including:

• Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts
• Posting journals and supporting the month-end close process
• Completing regular balance sheet reconciliations and investigating variances
• Monitoring and maintaining accurate financial records
• Supporting accounts payable and receivable activities when required
• Assisting with cashflow reporting and bank reconciliation processes
• Providing financial information and analysis to support key business decisions
• Supporting the preparation of budgets, forecasts and financial reports
• Assisting with audit requirements and providing information to external stakeholders
• Identifying opportunities to improve existing finance processes and controls
• Working alongside colleagues across the business to resolve financial queries
• Taking on additional projects and responsibilities as required by the Financial Controller
