A rare and prestigious opportunity has arisen for a senior commercial disputes partner to join a leading international UK headquartered law firm in London. The disputes team of lawyers is highly ranked in the directories, but there is a strategic need for a high-calibre litigator with a proven track record in high-profile, complex commercial disputes. The firm is not seeking a financial following; instead, this is a reputational hire based on an individual's track record and relationships aimed at elevating the litigation team's visibility and influence in the market.
The successful candidate will be instrumental in shaping the strategic direction of the practice, whose recruitment will create a buzz across the transactional practices and bring gravitas to the firm. The head of disputes would love it if his fellow partners immediately felt excited about the prospect of referring work or speaking to their clients about the new hire.
The firm has an impressive client base across the financial services sector and the FTSE 250. This appointment reflects the firm's bold ambition to cement its standing as a premier City litigation practice.
