Head of Athletic Development

We are seeking an outstanding and enthusiastic Head of Athletic Development to lead and develop our Athletic Development programme, inspiring pupils to maximise their physical potential and supporting sporting excellence across the School.

Working closely with the Director of Sport, coaches and medical staff, the successful candidate will design and deliver a progressive, evidence-based Athletic Development programme for all year groups. The role includes delivering strength and conditioning sessions, monitoring pupil development through performance testing, supporting injury prevention and rehabilitation, providing educational workshops, and working collaboratively with colleagues and external performance partners to enhance pupil development.

We are looking for an experienced Strength and Conditioning professional with excellent communication and organisational skills, a passion for developing young people, and accredited UK Strength and Conditioning Association (UKSCA) membership, or the ability to achieve accreditation within twelve months of appointment. Experience within an educational or high-performance sporting environment would be advantageous.
