Site Manager - Independent School in Dorchester - ASAP...
A prestigious independent school in Dorchester is seeking a reliable and experienced Site Manager to join the school as soon as possible. This is an excellent opportunity to take responsibility for maintaining a safe, secure, and high-quality site within a well-resourced and professionally run independent school environment.

The Role
Overseeing the day-to-day management, maintenance, and security of the school site
Carrying out routine health & safety checks, including fire alarms and emergency lighting
Ensuring statutory compliance and maintaining accurate site records
Managing contractors and supervising site-related works
Coordinating repairs, maintenance tasks, and minor improvement projects
Supporting school events and occasional out-of-hours requirements
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Previous experience as a Site Manager, Premises Manager, or Caretaker
Strong knowledge of health & safety and site compliance
Practical maintenance and DIY skills
Experience managing contractors and site operations
Strong organisational and communication skills
A proactive, professional, and dependable approach
