Day-to-day, your key area of responsibility will include sickness absence and health and wellness case management and supporting HR colleagues and People Leaders from triaging cases, supporting referrals through advising management on the implementation of workplace adjustments. You’ll use proactive analysis and reporting to identify trends, shape evidence-based clinical best practice, and develop focused strategies, policies, procedures and training across Wellness Advisory services, while supporting compliance with relevant health and safety legislation.Evidence based clinical advice and triage of complex employee cases relating to absence and health & wellness/absence prevention to Case Handlers, ER, HR and People Leaders within agreed target times (SLAs and KPIs) and quality standards.Collaboration with our non-clinical Wellness Advisory Team, which may involve planning, reviewing, coordinating and/or signposting and advising on support pathways, as well as workplace adjustments, to assist our people stay in, or return to work.Advisory, support and coordination of referrals to external partiesStakeholder management, including liaising and discussion of needs, with internal People Leaders and/or HR professionals.Provide specialist support, advice and expertise in managing potential safeguarding escalations.Review Occupational Health, neurodiversity and DSE reports and recommendations, providing internal advice to the business and Wellness Advisory colleagues on effective implementation.Support the onboarding pre-placement medical process, liaising directly with our Occupational Health provider and consistently striving to improve both the process and employee experience.Connect to your skills and professional experience Essential:Demonstrable Occupational Health experience needed in a corporate occupational health and wellbeing setting UK recognized qualification in Nursing or Physiotherapy Active professional UK board registration - NMC and/or HCPC Registered on part 3 of NMC Register (Occupational Health) or BSc or PgDip Occupational Health Substantial OH knowledge including up to date knowledge of legislation, best practice principles and regulatory requirements Competent in all aspects of sickness absence management, from clinical assessment and triage, through to post-assessment sickness absence case management Strong understanding of data protection, confidentiality, and the secure handling of patient-level data, demonstrating the highest standards of integrity and professionalism needed when managing sensitive informationDesirable: Training and experience in implementing workplace adjustments across a range of neurodivergent profiles Expert knowledge of legislation and guidance on safeguarding, as well as experience of managing risk and the policies, procedures, and process maps for escalating risk Experience of providing clinical leadership and advice on matters relating to quality and safety in their area of clinical practice Case Management/ServiceNow software experienceConnect to your business - Enabling FunctionsCollaboration is central to everything we do at Deloitte.
