This is a dedicated AMHP role with manageable caseloads, clear assessment pathways, and a rota designed to support wellbeing and professional sustainability working with a team of seven other AMHPs including the team manager and alongside an intensive mental health social work team.

About the role:

Our dedicated AMHP team is led by a single point of contact for all daytime Mental Health Act assessments across the county, ensuring consistency and collaboration.What makes this role unique?
- Follow patients through their full journey, from hospital admission to discharge and reintegration into the community.
- Work four days per week, including one 8.00am - 8.00pm shift.
- Carry a small, focused inpatient caseload to maintain quality and continuity of care.
- Apply your professional skills in complex ethical and legislative contexts.

- Enthusiastic, qualified AMHP's with a commitment to continuous development.
- Flexibility to work over four days, with hours condensed into a shorter working week.

For this position you must have the following:
- Degree in Social Work & registered with Social Work England.
- AMHP Qualification
- It is an essential requirement of the role that the post holder has a valid UK driving licence and is either a car owner and is able to use the car for work purposes.
