Are you an experienced Tissue Viability clinician ready to lead, influence and shape the future of specialist services? We are looking for an exceptional clinical leader to join our Long Term Conditions Division as Clinical Lead for Tissue Viability. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and passionate clinician to provide professional and clinical leadership for a specialist service that plays a vital role in improving patient outcomes across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight. As our Clinical Lead, you will be the clinical authority for Tissue Viability, helping to drive excellence in care, support service transformation, develop clinical pathways and champion best practice across the organisation and wider healthcare system. Working within our collaborative leadership model alongside the Operational Lead and Quality Matron, you will help shape the future of the service, improve patient experience and outcomes, and support our workforce to deliver outstanding, evidence-based care. Hampshire and Isle of Wight Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust provides joined-up mental and physical healthcare for around two million people across our communities. Our mental health services include community-based support and early intervention in psychosis (EIP) for both adults and young people, alongside a network of specialist inpatient wards covering forensic, learning disability, eating disorder and older person's care. We deliver extensive physical health services too, from urgent community response teams helping frail and older patients remain safely at home, to hospitals at home teams providing acute-level care in familiar surroundings. Our neurological services offer rehabilitation and treatment for conditions including Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson's Disease, Motor Neurone Disease, Head Injury, Cerebral Palsy and Stroke. Across Hampshire, our community hospitals provide inpatient rehabilitation as a step down from acute care, and our dedicated teams also staff Treetops Sexual Assault Referral Centre in Portsmouth, offering expert, compassionate support. Essential
- A registered healthcare professional with current professional registration (NMC, HCPC, GMC or equivalent).
- Educated to Master's level or able to demonstrate equivalent experience.
- Holder of a recognised post-registration qualification in Tissue Viability/Wound Care.
- An experienced Tissue Viability specialist with significant clinical expertise.
- An effective and inspiring leader with experience of clinical supervision, mentorship and workforce development.
- Experienced in clinical audit, service improvement and pathway development.
- Skilled in working across organisational and professional boundaries.
- Passionate about delivering person-centred, evidence-based care.
- A confident communicator who can engage, influence and support teams through change.
