Are you an experienced CNC Programmer looking for a stable, days-based role with flexibility and the opportunity to make a real impact?

Our client is a highly respected subcontract precision engineering company with over 45 years of industry success. Thanks to continued growth and a strong order book, they are looking to add an experienced CNC Miller Programmer to their skilled manufacturing team.

The Role

You'll be responsible for creating and optimising CNC programs for 3 & 4-axis Hurco machining centres using OneCNC CAD/CAM software, ensuring efficient production, exceptional quality, and reduced cycle times.

Key Responsibilities

* Create and optimise CNC programs using OneCNC for 3 & 4-axis Hurco CNC machines.

* Interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, and technical specifications to produce accurate machining programs.

* Develop efficient tooling and machining strategies for a range of materials.

* Work closely with machinists to improve program performance, maximise productivity, and reduce cycle times.

* Troubleshoot and refine existing programs to improve quality and minimise waste.

* Ensure all machining processes meet quality, safety, and engineering standards.

What We're Looking For

* Proven experience as a CNC CAD/CAM Programmer.

* Experience with OneCNC is highly desirable.

* Strong understanding of CNC milling and machining processes.

* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.

* Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.

* A proactive approach and the ability to work both independently and within a close-knit team.
