This is a fantastic opportunity to support secondary-aged students with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and complex learning needs . The role also includes providing personal care , so we're looking for caring, resilient, and committed individuals who are passionate about making a real difference every day.
Your RoleAs an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support secondary students with autism and complex needs both in and out of the classroom.
- Deliver one-to-one and small group support tailored to individual learning needs.
- Assist with personal care while maintaining students' dignity and independence.
- Encourage communication, confidence, and social development.
- Work closely with teachers and the wider school team to provide the best possible support.
- Experience working with children or young people with SEN is desirable but not essential.
- A patient, compassionate, and positive attitude.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A willingness to provide personal care.
- A genuine passion for helping young people achieve their full potential.
