Role Summary
Reporting into the Managing Director, there is a strategic recruitment requirement to recruit a Head of HR. The purpose of this role is to lead the HR function with overall responsibility for:
- Strategic Leadership: Defining and implementing a HR strategy that is aligned to business growth aspirations
- People & Engagement: Driving an organisational culture aligned to company values that supports growth, transformation and employee engagement
- Operational Oversight: Leading the HR team, ensuring delivery of high–quality HR services
- Risk & Compliance: Managing HR risk, ensuring compliance with employment legislation
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Providing expert HR advice to leaders and managers across the organisation.
Experience Needed & Subjective Fit
- Notable Head of HR level experience strong broad HR experience
- CIPD qualified with evidence of ongoing professional development on a continuous basis
- Deep understanding of UK employment legislation and HR best practice, with the ability to apply this in a pragmatic and business–focused way
- Proven ability to translate business objectives into clear and effective people strategies.
- Strong leadership capability, with experience of developing and leading high–performing HR teams
- A confident role model with proven ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders, with credibility at Board and Executive level
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage, inspire and build trust across all levels of the organisation.
