Are you an experienced Farm Animal Veterinary Surgeon looking for a supportive and progressive team in a stunning rural location? This opportunity offers the best of both worlds – a friendly, close-knit practice community with the Cotswolds, Regency Cheltenham, and the Forest of Dean all within easy reach.
About the Role
You’ll join a well-established, RCVS-accredited practice with an excellent reputation across Gloucestershire. This is a dedicated farm-only team operating from a purpose-built hospital that also houses a small animal department, giving you access to a wider network and collaborative environment.
The role is ideal for a confident farm vet who enjoys routine dairy work alongside a varied caseload of beef, sheep, smallholder, gamebird, and export work . The practice radius is tight, ensuring less time on the road and more time on farm. As a senior member of the team, you’ll also have the opportunity to mentor junior colleagues and contribute to clinical discussions and farm health planning.
About You
MRCVS with proven experience in farm animal practice (unfortunately not suitable for new graduates)
Confident in dairy, beef, and sheep work
A supportive team player keen to collaborate and share knowledge
Full UK driving licence essential
Flexible working patterns can be considered for the right candidate.
