A rated London/UK law firm is seeking to appoint an experienced private client Lawyer to join and support the Head of its Private Client team. This is a strategic hire aimed at strengthening the London practice and contributing to its continued growth. The private client practice is a central pillar of the firm, and this appointment is seen as an important part of its ongoing investment in the London market.
The ideal candidate will have experience across both estate administration and estate planning. The London team handles a wide range of tax, trusts and estates work for HNW and UHNW clients, including complex UK and cross-border matters.
You will have a minimum of 10 years' post-qualification experience, and be currently operating at Senior Associate level or as a Junior Partner. Candidates being considered at Partner level should ideally already hold that title and be able to demonstrate clear, proven experience of operating at that level. You will have current experience in a highly-regarded London/national/regional firm.
While a guaranteed client following is welcome, it is not essential (subject to salary expectations). However, candidates must demonstrate genuine enthusiasm for business development, along with a strong track record in this area. The primary focus will be fee earning and client development, and the successful candidate will also play a key role in mentoring junior members of the team.
