Role: Trainee Teaching Assistant Location: Yeovil and surrounding areas Salary: £93 - £100 per day (depending on experience and qualifications) Start date: September 2026 To apply, you must show proof of right to work in the UK. About the role Connex Education are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Trainee Teaching Assistants to work across a variety of primary schools in Yeovil and the surrounding areas. We have opportunities available on a day-to-day supply basis, as well as short-term and long-term placements starting from September 2026. We are working exclusively with a large and highly respected Multi-Academy Trust that supports a wide network of schools across the Southwest. As a Trainee Teaching Assistant, you will support teachers in delivering engaging lessons, help pupils access learning, and contribute to creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment in either EYFS, KS1 and KS2. Experience Working With Children Is Desirable But Not Essential

Knowledge of Phonics and Read, Write Inc. is desirable

Must hold a DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one
