Our Sourcing Team provides support through innovation and collaborating across national, regional, and global projects. Managing the complete supply chain and engaging in the Sourcing management process to achieve the best contractual conditions and optimum outcomes for the business and suppliers .

To negotiate , manage and source suppliers and potential suppliers according to Baker Hughes policies and strategies

Achieve the best contractual conditions while also ensuring internal customer satisfaction. Understands concepts, methods, procedures and approaches of supply chain management and procurement.

As a Lead Sourcing Specialist, you will be responsible for :

 

 

• Sourcing suppliers and technologies required for a 21st Century global and regional operation.

 

 

 

 

• Working in a collaborative manner with multi-cultural suppliers and situations within the region.

 

 

 

 

• Have ownership for Sourcing policies and procedures within the business.

 

 

 

 

• Be the Gatekeeper on Sourcing & Procurement policy and procedures

 

 

 

 

• Supply chain and Relationship management at the cutting edge of supply chain innovation.

 

 

 

 

• Contributing to projects as a team member or leading projects.

 

 

 

 

• Running and managing Sourcing projects through Ariba involving contract discussion and negotiation.

 

 

 

 

• Contract negotiations and contract drafting.

 

 

 

 

• Owning Commercial outcomes and results .

 

 

 

 

• Solving problems and providing sustainable solutions .

 

 

 

 

• Reporting and data analysis.

 

 

 

 

• Contributing to KPI's .

 

 

 

 

• Category Management .

 

 

 

 

• Procurement management - requisition to fulfilment .

 

 

 

 

• Owing the complete Source to Pay model.

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

 

 

 

• Have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with experience in Sourcing).
• Strong work experience in Direct sourcing/ procurement /Supply chain Management
• Should have strong Contract Management experience
• Commodity Management experience ( good to have )
• Experience in ERPs like SAP or Oracle
• Haves Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to influence others and lead small teams.
• Be able to coordinate several projects simultaneously.
• Permanent work permit in UK
