Brook Street Social Care is recruiting Residential Support Workers to support children and young people in residential settings across Choppington.
This is a rewarding opportunity to help young people feel safe, valued, and empowered while building the confidence and life skills they need to thrive. You'll be part of a supportive team dedicated to making a lasting difference.
The Role
As a Residential Support Worker, you will:
Support children and young people with their daily routines
Create a safe, positive, and nurturing environment
Encourage independence, confidence, and emotional well-being
Follow safeguarding policies and procedures at all times
Work collaboratively with colleagues and external professionals
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records
What We're Looking For
Experience working with children and young people
A caring, patient, and resilient approach
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Flexibility to work a variety of shifts
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
Desirable:
NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care
Full UK Driving Licence
