Rail Electrical Project Manager

Are you an experienced MEP Project Manager with a contractor background and strong electrical experience?
Do you have hands-on site experience across MEP projects, with knowledge of BMS, SCADA and commissioning?
Job Title: MEP Project Manager
Location: Banbury - Site-based 5 days a week
Rate: £500-£550/day Inside IR35 via Umbrella
Contract: Long-Term rolling contract
Start Date: Flexible - Can wait for the right person
We're looking for an on-site MEP Project Manager to oversee the delivery and interface of MEP works across two buildings on HS2.
Where you will add value:
• Managing the MEP contractor interface, ensuring the subcontractor is ready to mobilise and deliver.
• Overseeing buildability ahead of construction.
• Managing pre-construction documentation and site readiness.
• Coordinating with subcontractors and project elements.
• Monitoring progress and ensuring the MEP works remain on programme.
• Managing sequencing and interfaces across the project.
• Supporting commissioning and resolving practical site issues.
• Working closely with the wider project team to ensure successful MEP delivery.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
• Strong MEP Project Management experience, must be contractor-side.
• Electrical background preferred.
• Practical, on-site MEP delivery experience.
• Experience with BMS and SCADA systems.
• Understanding of commissioning and MEP sequencing.
• Experience managing interfaces between multiple subcontractors.
• CSCS card - essential.
• SMSTS - preferred, but can be worked around.
