Principal Dentist

Job Description

Clinical Leadership and Shared Ownership Opportunity

Build a successful practice. Share in its profitability. Lead with the backing of PortmanDentex.

The Smile Boutique, Peterborough  is looking for an experienced General Dentist with the ambition to lead, grow and help shape a thriving practice.

This is more than a clinical role. It is an opportunity to influence how the practice develops, improve its commercial performance and benefit financially from the value and profitability you help create.

You will have the freedom and influence to think like an owner, supported by the scale, expertise and infrastructure of PortmanDentex. That means you can focus on leading excellent care, developing a high-performing team and growing the practice - without having to build everything alone.

Two pathways are available, allowing you to choose the level of commercial involvement that suits your ambitions.

Pathway 1: Shared Ownership

Pathway 2: Practice Clinical Lead

For more information about each pathway, visit our website:  Partnership with PortmanDentex: Make it Your Choice | PortmanDentex - Elevate Your Dental Career and Practice

The Entrepreneurial Opportunity

We are looking for someone who sees possibilities: a clinician who is curious about what could be improved, confident making decisions and motivated by building something successful.

You might already have leadership experience, or you may be ready to take the next step. Either way, you will not be expected to do it alone. You will have the backing of an established organisation, access to experienced colleagues and support across the areas required to run and grow a successful practice.

About You

You will be:

• A GDC-registered dentist with strong clinical experience.

• Commercially curious, entrepreneurial and motivated by growth.

• Committed to excellent, patient-centred care.

• Confident working collaboratively with practice management and support teams.

• Motivated to develop others and improve how the practice operates.

Previous ownership experience is not essential. What matters is your ambition, judgement and willingness to lead.

Lead Like an Owner - Without Building Alone

Your leadership can improve care, strengthen the practice and create meaningful financial reward
