Events Project Manager
Your reason for being here…
Your purpose here at DRPG is to enable audiences to experience incredible events like never before seamlessly. Because of you, jaws will drop, memories will be made, and futures will be transformed for the better.
The way you roll…
You have a knack for turning dreams into reality and there’s no one more organised than you. Your superpowers include a deep understanding of event intricacies, from safeguarding the bottom line to reconciling the accounts post-event. Balancing budgets and turning chaos into coordinated perfection is your daily routine.
But it's not just about the numbers for you. You're a people person. Connecting with others is your second nature, and you can grow relationships in no time. You’ve done just that at event agencies before and you know how to groove with different departments. Whether it's chatting with the creative minds, high-fiving the production crew, discussing designs, or navigating the digital realm, you're the maestro who conducts the whole symphony.
You've got a strong logistical background, turning potential chaos into well-organised experiences. And you’re ready to take your event mastery to the next level.
How you make it all possible…
Owning the beginning, middle and end of every project – from planning through to on-site delivery
Interpreting client requirements accurately, influencing where appropriate and producing full event response proposals in collaboration with other internal departments
Managing multiple events simultaneously
Being commercially aware throughout the project (you own the budget)
Ensuring that post-event activity is given as much attention as the other stages of the project to support future event activity and facilitate continuous improvement
Owning all health and safety processes, ensuring they are always completed and adhered to
Clearly communicating with all stakeholders, internal and external, throughout the project
What’s in your toolbox…
At least three years’ working in an Event Management role – you really know your stuff
Strong credible leadership
Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
Thorough and organised approach – you’re able to prioritise effectively your own workload and administration
Experience running logistically challenging events
First-class operational delivery across a varied portfolio of projects
Excellent rapport-building, active listening and communication skills, supported by proven relationships internally and externally
Top-notch delegate and crew logistics management
A real passion for operational and financial efficiency
Experience leading, directing or coordinating teams through event management
Knowledge of production elements including technical, design, print, video, multi-media and presentation
Experience in delegate management, including online registration
A full UK driving licence.
Good computer literacy skills (particularly working across the various MS packages)

We’re one of the most unexpectedly all-around capable communications agencies that’s been on the go for years – ever since our head honcho set up shop in a shed back in 1980.
Our mission is to make anything possible for our diverse range of clients. We accomplish this by infusing our creative flair into the delivery of strategic communication campaigns, digital solutions, films, videos, events, exhibitions and more. Despite our growth, we remain true to the qualities that made us great from day one. Our global headquarters and largest studios are in the heart of the UK and are definitely worth a visit to experience firsthand.

We’re one of the most unexpectedly all-round capable communications agencies that’s been on the go for years – ever since our head honcho set up shop in a shed back in 1980, in fact.
Since then, we’ve made it our mission to make anything possible for our many and varied clients, putting our creative flair into delivering strategic communication campaigns, digital solutions, film and videos, events, exhibitions, and a whole lot more in between. We’ve grown a lot, but we’ve kept everything that made us great, back from the very day we first started out. Our global HQ and largest studios are smack bang in the middle of the UK and well worth a visit to see for yourself!
Hang on, there’s more…
The role will be based primarily in Hartlebury, but there will be times when you’ll need to work from our other places and undertake other related commercial duties both in the UK and overseas. Flexibility is key!
We’re a friendly team. We really, really welcome anyone who wants to become part of a brilliant company. If you’re passionate, with a cracking drive to deliver on our ‘anything’s possible’ mindset, we’d love to hear from you.
