EV Principal Delivery Engineer

As an Electric Vehicle Principal Delivery Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering Virgin Media O2’s EV charging point rollout across the UK, working on behalf of Believ. 

You will take ownership of infield build supervision, ensuring installations are completed safely, on time and to the highest quality standards while resolving onsite challenges as they arise. You will oversee the full delivery lifecycle, from pre-site surveys through to final sign-off, collaborating with programme teams, contractors and supply chain partners to keep projects on track. 

This is a highly visible role where you will coordinate build activity, manage DNO connections and ensure alignment across planning, build and partner teams to meet performance targets and programme commitments. The role covers a large geographical region (North London), so regular travel is expected.

This role is offered on a 12 months FTC basis.

The must haves

In order to be considered, you must have the following experience;

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalen

• ECS Gold Card as an Installation or Approved Electrician

• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671)

• Proven experience delivering large-scale programmes in telecoms or infrastructure environments

We'd also love you to bring;

• NRSWA Streetworks and Supervision accreditations

• Previous Qualified Supervisor experience (NICEIC or NAPIT eligible)
• Experience delivering fibre backhaul or FTTP programmes 
• Experience working with construction partners within Virgin Media
• Strong stakeholder management across planning, build and supply chain functions
