A lovely family based in South Kensington, London, is seeking a reliable and proactive Live-in Nanny-Housekeeper to provide attentive care for their three children, aged 11, 7, and 4, while supporting the smooth running of their family home.

The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience and will be warm, organised, nurturing, and confident managing both childcare and housekeeping duties independently. Someone who can take initiative and work well in a busy family home would be ideal for this role. A confident driver would be a bonus, and a candidate who speaks Farsi would also be advantageous, although this is not essential.

The nanny-housekeeper will be responsible for the children’s morning and evening routines, school preparation, meals and snacks, homework support, and age-appropriate activities. They will also help with school runs, extracurricular activities, playdates, appointments, and outings when required.

During school hours, the candidate will focus on child-related household duties and general housekeeping. This includes maintaining the children’s bedrooms and play areas, organising their belongings, managing laundry, cleaning the kitchen and bathrooms, and helping keep the home clean, hygienic, and well organised.

The role also includes helping with family meals, preparing packed lunches and snacks, following recipes, grocery shopping, and occasionally involving the children in fun cooking or baking activities.

The candidate will be provided with a private bedroom and en-suite bathroom.

A valid first aid certificate is required for this role.

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 to 19:00, with a 1 to 2-hour break during the day. Occasional babysitting and weekend cover may be required.

Duties include:

preparing the children for school
managing morning and evening routines
preparing healthy meals, snacks, and packed lunches
assisting with homework and reading
arranging age-appropriate activities and outings
taking the children to school, activities, playdates, and appointments
maintaining the children’s bedrooms, play areas, and belongings
supporting positive behaviour and independence
sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping floors
dusting and polishing furniture, fixtures, and surfaces
cleaning and sanitising the kitchen, bathrooms, and cloakrooms
washing up and loading and unloading the dishwasher
washing, drying, folding, ironing, and putting away laundry
making beds and changing bed linen
running household errands and grocery shopping
monitoring household supplies and replenishing items when needed

The family is looking for someone who can start on 1 August 2026.
