About the Role
We are recruiting for a reliable and professional Cleaning Operative to work at a modern commercial office in Shrewsbury .
This is an excellent opportunity for someone seeking part-time evening work with the opportunity to secure permanent employment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness while working independently in a professional office environment.
Key Responsibilities
- General office cleaning
- Vacuuming, mopping and dusting
- Cleaning desks, workstations and touch points
- Cleaning kitchens and staff welfare facilities
- Cleaning washrooms and replenishing consumables
- Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately
- Maintaining excellent standards of cleanliness throughout the site
- Reporting any maintenance or health and safety concerns
- Working safely in accordance with all site procedures
Candidate Requirements
- Previous commercial cleaning experience preferred
- Reliable, punctual and trustworthy
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable working as a lone worker where required
- Comfortable acting as a key holder and using an alarm system where applicable
- Good communication skills
- Right to work in the UK
