Nursery Teacher

Monarch Education are proud to be supporting a welcoming and well-respected Nursery School in the Perry Barr area, who are seeking an experienced and passionate Nursery Teacher to join their team. This is a full-time role (8am-4pm), from September 2026 until March 2027 and paid to scale as you will be responsible for planning, teaching, marking and contributing fully to the life of the school.

The setting is known for its lovely staff team and supportive headteacher, creating a positive, nurturing environment both for children and for staff.

• Position: Nursery Teacher
• Location: Perry Barr
• Hours: 8am – 4pm Monday to Friday
• Setting: Nursery School
• Pay: Paid to teacher scale (UPS/MPS depending on experience)
• Responsibilities include: planning, delivering lessons, assessment, maintaining high-quality provision

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• Full QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
• At least 5 years’ experience teaching within Early Years
• Strong understanding of the EYFS framework
• Experience planning high-quality, play‑based learning
• Ability to contribute to a warm and collaborative staff team
• High expectations for children’s development and progress

Salary: £150 – £210 per day (Reviewed after 12 weeks placement*)
