Teacher of Maths (maternity cover)

We are seeking a passionate and collaborative Maths teacher to join our inspiring department on a maternity cover basis. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a high-achieving team where Maths inspires young people to become the most enquiring, empowered and proactive problem solvers they can be.

While we are seeking a January start date, we would be interested in hearing from applicants who may be available for an earlier start.

We are in our eighth year since opening, located just north of Horsham, West Sussex. We currently provide education for students in Reception - Y2 and Years 7-11. Over the next few years we will grow to become an all-through school for 1620 students aged 4-16 with a nursery facility. 

We are part of the supportive and innovative Bohunt Education Trust which now has ten schools across four local authorities: Hampshire, Portsmouth, West Sussex and Wokingham; Bohunt Farnborough joined in January 2024 and Rusper Primary School in March 2025. Students perform very well in Maths at Bohunt Horsham, in both progress and attainment. Importantly, students here love Maths - it’s one of the most highly regarded subjects across the school. Beyond the classroom, we foster a culture of mathematical curiosity through clubs, challenges, and trips, ensuring students are constantly inspired to understand the world around them.
