TPF Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a thriving accountancy practice in the heart of Wimbledon in their search for a Junior Accountant <\/b> to join their growing team. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone with a few years of practice experience under their belt (or recent graduates with practice experience looking to break into the profession) to become part of a welcoming, close -knit business.

What you’ll be doing: <\/b>
<\/p>

• Bookkeeping using Xero, FreeAgent, QuickBooks and Excel
  <\/p><\/li>

• Preparing tidy, client -ready records for year -end accounts
  <\/p><\/li>

• Preparing VAT returns
  <\/p><\/li>

• Assisting with self -assessment tax returns
  <\/p><\/li>

• Supporting with basic limited company accounts and corporation tax computations
  <\/p><\/li>

• Being part of a friendly team and delivering excellent client service across the board
  <\/p><\/li><\/ul>

  Requirements <\/h3>

  Who we’re looking for: <\/b>
  <\/p>

  We’re after someone who is keen, proactive and ready to take on a varied role within a smaller firm where flexibility is key. You should be confident working with clients, capable of managing multiple deadlines, and happy to get stuck in wherever needed.
  <\/p>

  The ideal candidate will have one of the following:
  <\/p>

  • AAT Level 3 or 4 qualification
    <\/p><\/li>

  • ACCA part -qualified status
    <\/p><\/li>

  • A degree in Accountancy or a related field
    <\/p><\/li><\/ul>

    Experience with any of the following software packages is beneficial but not essential: Xero, TaxCalc, FreeAgent, QuickBooks, BrightPay, and Microsoft Excel.
