* Plan and deliver engaging, well-differentiated lessons that meet the individual needs of pupils with MLD.
* Deliver a broad curriculum that promotes academic progress alongside personal, social and emotional development.
* Use a range of adaptive teaching strategies, assessment for learning and targeted interventions to enable every pupil to succeed.
* Foster pupils' independence, confidence, resilience and positive behaviour for learning.
* Work collaboratively with families and multi-disciplinary professionals to support pupils in achieving their EHCP outcomes.

* Ensure the highest standards of safeguarding, wellbeing and pastoral care at all times. The Ideal Candidate We are looking for a teacher who: * Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* Has experience teaching pupils with Special Educational Needs, particularly Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), or has a strong interest in SEND.
* Has either Primary or Secondary teaching experience and is confident adapting learning for pupils working below age-related expectations.
* Can deliver engaging, high-quality teaching as part of a collaborative classroom team.
* Understands how to use assessment to inform planning and accelerate pupil progress.
* Has experience of planning for, or contributing to, Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
* Maintains high expectations for every pupil and believes all young people can achieve and make meaningful progress.
