About the role

Connex Education are supporting a mainstream primary school in Bradford in appointing an SEN Teaching Assistant on a full-time basis. The role is to work 1:1 with a non verbal child in Year 2.

This welcoming Primary school in Bradford provides an inclusive and nurturing learning environment. The staff and parents work together closely to ensure each child achieves their full potential. The school is looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant who can help the child access the currriuculmn using different techniques and strategies.  

Assignment details

This role is long term assignment starting September 2026 – January 2027 (32.5 hours per week).

Person Specification

• Have a current DBS on the update service or willing to provide a new one
• Have Maths and English to GCSE Grade C or equivalent
• Hold previous experience of working with children and young people
• Have experience of supporting pupils with SEN needs
