A prominent secondary school in Manchester is seeking a brilliant and intellectually curious Physics Teacher for a full-time, permanent role starting in September 2026. This position is ideal for a scientist who wants to lead high-level inquiry in a school that treats the sciences as the cornerstone of the curriculum.

Responsibilities
Teach Physics across KS3 to KS5, leading high-level practicals and theoretical seminars.
Manage a dedicated laboratory space, ensuring a rigorous approach to scientific safety and inquiry.
Mentor students for university entrance exams and engineering or medical school applications.
Lead extracurricular Science clubs and facilitate entries into national Olympiads.
Work collaboratively with the Science technician team to deliver innovative practical experiments.
Requirements
Degree in Physics or a related scientific discipline.
PGCE or QTS.
Deep subject knowledge and a passion for laboratory-based learning.
Must have the right to work in the UK.
Salary and Benefits
Full-time, permanent contract.
M1 – UPS3 Salary Range + Bespoke School Allowance.
