PTESL Fire Suppression Systems is a UK SME that specialises in fire suppression, providing a broad range of services from fully managed solutions to consultancy. The PTESL workforce takes great pride in what we do and consistently deliver assurance, compliance and quality. Even though PTESL began in 2015 we bring a vast wealth of over 50 years combined fire engineering experience. Our comprehensive gaseous fire suppression systems are designed, in-stalled, maintained and BAFE approved. At PTESL we believe that undertaking work the correct way, is the only way. We are BAFE accredited in the fields of our expertise and comply with Health and Safety schemes including SafeContractor. All our fire suppression systems are both environmentally friendly and cost-effective.
Job Description
As an apprentice, you'll work alongside experienced engineers to install, maintain and fault-find on the following systems:
Fire Protection
Fire Suppression
Fire Alarms
Entry Requirements
16 to 24 year olds only
Driving license desirable
Must have Maths & English
Must be able to pass an enhanced DBS
Applicants only from The Southampton area
There will be over night stays away
Training to be Provided

Your apprenticeship training is delivered by Skills for Security, specialists in fire and security training.
You’ll train through block release at our Watford centre, for one week every eight weeks (Tuesday–Friday).
You’ll work towards a Level 3 Fire, Emergency & Security Systems Technician apprenticeship, gaining real skills and a nationally recognised qualification.

Build evidence from your job to support your learning
Sit annual assessments at the centre
