- Caseload Management: Independently manage and prioritise a varied caseload on a designated ward.
- Treatment Delivery: Deliver high-quality physiotherapy interventions tailored to individual patient needs and goals.
- Multidisciplinary Working: Work collaboratively with Occupational Therapists, Nurses, Doctors, and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care.
- Goal Setting: Establish realistic rehabilitation goals and regularly review patient progress.
- Discharge Planning: Contribute to safe and effective discharge planning to support positive outcomes and continuity of care.
- Service Development: Participate in team meetings and contribute to ongoing service improvement initiatives.
- Clinical Documentation: Maintain accurate, timely, and professional patient records in accordance with departmental and professional standards. Qualifications / Requirements - Physiotherapy Qualification: Degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent recognised qualification.
- Registration: Current HCPC registration as a Physiotherapist.
- Experience: Previous experience working within inpatient rehabilitation, elderly care, or acute physiotherapy services.
- Rehabilitation Knowledge: Strong understanding of rehabilitation principles for older adults and complex patient presentations.
- Assessment Skills: Ability to independently assess, treat, and manage a varied physiotherapy caseload.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication abilities.
- Teamwork: Proven ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
