Finance Manager

Company Details and Job Overview:

A privately owned SME in the Lancaster area are growing at a rapid rate and are now in the position to appoint a new finance lead. This newly created role will work closely alongside the Managing Director and take ownership for all financial activities within the business.

Your New Role as Finance Manager:

• Line management of 1 Accounts Assistant
• Overseeing all accounts payable and accounts receivable activities
• Month end reporting and management accounts production
• VAT returns
• Preparation of budgets and forecasts
• Preparing and processing payroll
• Responsibility for credit control
• Primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
• Ongoing review of existing systems and processes, implementing improvements where necessary

Experience & Qualifications Required to Apply:

The successful candidate will be proven in a similar hands on and varied finance role. Experience of Sage 50 or Xero is beneficial. Staff management/supervisory experience is also required as well as the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders, to deliver financial insight and advice.
