A busy and established law firm is seeking an experienced Family Paralegal to join its growing Family Law team in the Rainhill area. The Role
The successful candidate will support solicitors in progressing legally aided family matters, primarily involving children law cases.
Key Responsibilities
* Taking client instructions and preparing statements
* Liaising with courts, counsel, experts and external agencies
* Drafting applications, court orders and preparing briefs to counsel
* Managing court timetables, hearings and appointments
* Preparing legal aid applications and maintaining file compliance
* Updating bundles and progressing matters through effective correspondence About You * Minimum 2 years' experience within a family law department
* Experience supporting public children/care proceedings
* Strong organisational and communication skills with the ability to manage a busy workload
