Applications welcome from paralegals experienced in clinical negligence or complex PI.
The Clinical Negligence Team enjoys an enviable reputation. The lead partners in the team have a wealth of expertise across a whole range of clinical negligence matters. The quality of work undertaken by the team is excellent including catastrophic and life changing injuries.
Recent instructions have included surgical error, misdiagnosis, failure to treat etc. across:
- obstetrics and gynaecology
- paediatrics
- oncology
- emergency services and A&E
- oncology
- psychiatric
- military surgery & trauma
- respiratory
- haematology
- cardiology
- orthopaedics
Initially, you will be supporting partners and solicitor case managers with conduct of their caseload. Typical tasks will be:
- Arranging appointments and obtaining medical reports.
- Requesting evidence in support of claim.
- Assisting with instructions to counsel.
- Preparing trial bundles.
- Attending to enquires from clients and other parties.
