Corporate Tax Senior Manager
Manchester
£70,000 - £90,000 + Benefits + Bonus

I'm currently working with a leading Top 20 Accountancy firm who are looking to bring in a new senior hire to lead on their large corporate and complex client business.

This is new position, suited to someone who has experience dealing with larger corporate clients who wants to run their own department/team.

Responsibilities:

• Lead corporate tax strategy and advise senior stakeholders on tax risks and opportunities
• Oversee Pillar 2 implementation, including ETR calculations, compliance, reporting, and process integration
• Manage global transfer pricing policies, documentation (Master File, Local Files, CbCR), and audit defence
• Oversee Corporate Interest Restriction (CIR) calculations, filings, and financing strategy optimisation
• Ensure accurate and timely tax compliance, provisions, and financial reporting
• Provide tax support on M&A, restructuring, and cross-border transactions
• Act as key contact for auditors, tax authorities, and external advisors
• Drive tax governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance (e.g. SAO)
• Lead, develop, and review work of tax team members
• Improve tax processes, controls, and technology adoption across the function

What you'll need:

• Qualified (ACA, CTA, ACCA)
• Previous experience working with large corporate clients
• Compliance & advisory experience
• Good technical knowledge surrounding corporate interest restrictions, transfer pricing and complex compliance
